Up The Creek is a superior bed & breakfast suite situated at Frogmore Creek on the unique Salcombe-Kingsbridge estuary in the South Hams district of South Devon. It is owned and managed by Carole and Keith Baston and we take great pride in giving friendly and attentive service to our guests.

Frogmore is ideally situated to explore the South Hams area. The historic naval town of Dartmouth is 10 miles along the A379 which clings to the coast for most of the way, affording lovely views of Start Bay.

From Dartmouth, river cruises are available to Totnes and along the coast. Torcross and the wildlife reserve of Slapton Ley is 2 miles away. The local market town of Kingsbridge is 3 miles distant and the resort of Salcombe, with many interesting shops is 10 miles away. The unique Salcombe Estuary has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The towns of Brixham, Totnes, Torquay, Paignton and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth are within easy driving distance. Preserved steam railways from Kingswear to Paignton and Totnes to Buckfastleigh are other local attractions. There are many walks in the area including the South Devon Coastal Path.

In the Frogmore area the pubs pride themselves on their marvellous restaurants which have varied menus that specialise in locally caught seafood and steak. The Globe Inn at Frogmore is across the road, the Church House Inn at Stokenham is 2 miles away and The Laughing Monk at Strete is 5 miles away. There are many others within a 5 mile radius.
